Explore Huntington Beach State Park
Huntington Beach State Park is a year-round dog-friendly destination and a great place to spend an afternoon together! Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and allowed on the beach’s south end. In addition to the beach, there are two nature trails to explore, winding past maritime forests and home to abundant wildlife.
Visit Surfside Beach and Garden City Beach
Both Surfside Beach and Garden City Beach have regulations for dogs visiting the beach. From May 1-Labor Day, dogs are not allowed on the beach between 10 am-5 pm and must remain on a leash at all times. If you are looking for a place for your dog to run off-leash, we recommend the Surfside Beach Bark Park.
